Check Reeves Button is back

…and better than ever!  Now when you’re searching in your favorite database you can readily see if an article is available full text or in print format from Reeve’s periodical collection.  A new additional feature is the “Request through interlibrary loan” option for any article not immediately available through us.  The article information is pre-filled, so you only have to provide your contact information and click submit.  Any questions, please ask.

More on the Check Reeves Button

You may have noticed that the Check Reeves button is missing!  We are experiencing some technical difficulties with this option when checking for links to articles or journals available in print.   While we work on this, remember you can still check the availability of the article you want:

Simply copy the name of the JOURNAL (found within the description of the article you’ve selected) and paste it into the Locate a Journal search box on the library homepage.  You can get to this search box by opening a tab to the library home page, mouse over Find Resources, and click on Articles and Journals.   You will see the search box near the bottom of the page.

This will get you to the information you need to know!

And don’t forget, if after checking you find your article is not available through Reeves Library, you can always use the Interlibrary Loan Request an Article form.

journal locator improvements

Imagine just for a minute that you have a name of a periodical, and you want to see if we provide access to that resource.

You go to the library homepage and click on Locate Journals in Reeves Library. You type in the name of the periodical, and . . .

you can now see whether access is provided via Paper, Online, or Microfilm!

Paper access is indicated by “Moravian College Print holdings.” Online access is indicated by an embedded hyperlink. Microfilm access is indicated by “Moravian College Microforms.”

We sure think this is a beautiful site to behold! It’s certainly an improvement from the previous display, and we hope that it makes finding what you need just a little easier. Happy searching!
