Thanks to the Friends of Reeves Library, Moravian students, faculty and staff can now enjoy the Chronicle of Higher Education online. Here’s the full write up from InCommon:
The Friends of Reeves Library (FORL) recently donated an online subscription to The Chronicle of Higher Education to the library.
Users can bookmark The Chronicle of Higher Education, use the library catalog entry, or go directly to The Chroniclewebsite. When using the bookmark or library catalog, users have on- and off-campus authentication – no login is necessary for on campus, but your campus login is for off-campus visits.
When visiting The Chronicle website directly, users have on-campus access with no login, but for off-campus access you will have to create a unique Chronicle login while you are on campus. (Note: If you already have a Chronicle login, it should still be valid.)
When you read The Chronicle, you will be able to comment on an article or forward the article to colleagues from your own account.
Users will be able to download The Chronicle’s iPad edition at no cost. Additionally, users will have full-access privileges when using the Web browser of any smartphone or tablet.
If you have any questions concerning this new service, contact Linda LaPointe, head of technical services, research librarian, at email@example.com, or speak with a reference librarians at Reeves Library.
